~Now taking bookings for March Break Horse Camp 2009~ Come to Buckhorn Farm Equestrian Centre to learn all about our 4 legged friends. Campers will learn how to groom and tack. Each session will include a 1 hour riding lesson. Other activities include crafts, nature walks and competitions with prizes. Monday 16th - Friday 20th March, 12noon - 4pm. $200 for Full Week, $50 per session (prices are + gst) For March Camp registration form click here ~Week Long Summer Camp~ Our week long Summer Camp blends horsemanship and summer fun into 5 jam-packed, memory making days. Our day begins at 8.30am and finishes at 4pm. Each day provides 2 hours on horseback, a 1 hour structured lesson and a 1 hour "fun" ride, either spent on a leisurely trail ride accompanied by our camp staff, or games on horseback which are always a hit with the campers. You will learn: barn rules, stable management, how to handle your pony safely, how to groom your pony and how to "tack up" properly. Campers will also have a 1 hour swimming break in the Buckhorn Farm inground Swimming Pool. Other activities include crafts, nature walks, games and competitions with prizes.
