Heather Kirk,
Certified Level 1 Coach

Heather Kirk is an EC certified Coach 1, who is qualified to test rider levels and mentor instructor candidates.  Heather enjoys teaching students of various backgrounds, age groups and levels.  She uses a confidence-building approach, and strives to develop a solid foundation of good equitation and horsemanship in her riders.  She coaches competitive students in eventing, and at the primary levels of hunter/jumper and dressage.  Heather is currently riding under the tutelage of EC Level III coach Annaliese Farber (dressage), and EC Level II coach Caroline Morsehead (eventing), and frequently participates in clinics to enhance both her coaching and riding skills.  In 2008, Heather competed successfully at the training level on the Ontario eventing circuit with her gelding “Quito”.  Her goals for 2009 include competing at the preliminary level in eventing, and attaining her coaching Level II qualifications.
