Sheila Jopling is currently in the process of obtaining her OEF instructors certification in English Equitation. Her lifelong passion for horses and riding brought her to Buckhorn Farm in November, 2007, where she began taking English equitation lessons. Her enthusiasm and commitment to excelling in the sport has led Sheila to successfully obtaining her Rider Level 6 English Equitation (flat). With regular weekly mentoring sessions with our Level 2 coach, Tracey Stapley-Edwards, Sheila plans to obtain her instructors certification spring 2009. "My belief when teaching beginner riders is simple: There is no end to learning when it comes to horses. I want each student to enjoy learning about 'horsemanship', in a safe, fun and relaxed atmosphere, starting from the basics of proper horse care (grooming, leading, taking care of their tack) to establishing confidence, comfort and control on horseback. It is my biggest hope that every experience be positive and fun!"
